Nov. 26th, 2006 11:17 amThe irony of McGillion's final comment won't be lost on the legions of fans of Dr Carson Beckett, especially as it has subsequently emerged - and been confirmed by producer N John Smith - that the character will "go missing" during the second half of Season 3 and will not return as part of the main cast in Season 4. Still, no-one ever really dies in science fiction, do they?

I swore I wouldn't get worked up about this...but I'm getting worked up about this! "Go missing"? What they hell does that mean???
You know, if you think about it, it says something if they actually get rid of him. I mean, they killed Janet. If they 'get rid of' Carson, that means they've ousted the CMOs on BOTH shows. What the hell?
