Alright, I'm calmer now.

The basement apartment I rent at school flooded. There is mold EVERYWHERE. My furniture is, if not ruined, at least must be cleaned. I cannot move in. School starts on Monday. I cannot move in.

Must now find a sublet for the next 4 months.

My landlord is useless.

The only upshot. I don't have to live with Lindsay anymore.

On the bright side, now you don't have to pay rent for the 8 months you won't be living there...and I have heard that subletting in Waterloo is easy. Good luck, honey. That sucks soooo much!

So would it be a good thing or a bad thing to tell you know that I plan on coming up to visit you within the next month or so. I miss you too much so I'm forking out the dough for a plane ticket. Mayhaps I should wait till this is all sorted out first.

Awe crud, thats a nightmare and a half to have to deal with. Yeep. Hope everything works out and you end up in a happier locale where your stuff doesn't get flooded. I take it if you're subletting you're now freed from the lease with this particular landlord? Otherwise thats just messed up.
