::snerk::

So, last night I am on the computer around 7pm. I happen to return to my home page, which is MYMSN and I get the basic headlines of the hour. One had to do with the Atlantis shuttle, which I knew was launching that day so I clicked on it to see what was going on. It said the shuttle was going to launch at 7:38, so I turned to mom and we had the following conversation.

Me: "Atlantis is set to launch in about half an hour."
Mom: "Atlantis? What?"
Me: "The newest space shuttle. It's launching in Florida in half an hour."
Mom: "Oh, that Atlantis. I thought you meant your Atlantis."

::dies of laughter:: Oh, yeah, I wish!

In other news, the Canada crop of tomatoes aren't bad and I have found imported kalamata olives and feta cheese, but have had to make due with Italian olive oil.

Also, Kate, are the cucumbers in England has hard as Ontario's? Because the one I just bought is closer to a carrot then....carrots.

Hee!

I haven't actually tried Englist cucumbers. My vegetable resources are limited.

Really? Why so limited? I was kinda hoping in England to get a better diet then I can get here. It is funny but most of Thai food is rice and meat or noddles and meat... no vegetalbe in sight.

I was kinda hoping for good veggies too. Since that's mostly what I eat.

There are veggies...they are just really expensive. I get the fresh ones one out of every four times or so.
