Legend of the Seeker 'Tears'
Isn't it pretty amazing how, with so many inaccuracies according to the books, there were - in fact - so many accuracies?
Oh, walking in the desert. That's new. Not.
Even if she was useless, it was nice to have Verna back. I think I'm most mad about the fact that the cancellation means I don't get many seasons of Verna and Warran!
Did anyone else notice last week that Jennsen sort of just...died? And then they moved on?
I rarely get pissed off about timelines, but this episode bugged the crap out of me and that's with geography aside.
Where do casting directors find these creepy children?
MIDDLE OF A FUCKING DESERT!!!!! WAS THAT SO HARD TO GET RIGHT?
Funny how I figured out the 'Stone of Tears' before any of them did. It helps I've read the books.
Instead of kissy kissy, the preferend ending to a legendary tv show should have been "Your life is yours alone. Rise up and live it." I'll write the fix-it, one day.
On a thorough upshot: RAHL!!! Maybe they'll make a made for tv movie one day to wrap it up. Also Nicci will hopefully die horribly and painfully in it. Or she will be redeemed. It could go either way, I suppose, as she did have a not bad motive for helping Richard out. And Rahl's probably not on her list of favourite people right now.
I want to kill the writer who decided to keep giving Cara happy scenes and then torturing her horribly and then ending it on a 'well, she's only useful when on of them dies' note. Seriously, Cara was far and away my favourite book and tv character, but way to abuse her.
On a weird note: I miss Rachel.
On a point of last week's episode: I will be wearing Kahlan's fantastic new dress at my wedding because OMG! I have even forgiven the fact it was not blue.
